Abstract of lecture

Due to the limitations of dental radiology images, only two dimensions of the tooth can be observed, generally the height and width; fortunately, thanks to CBCT scanners, a three- dimensional model of the space can be constructed, which facilitates the diagnosis and treatment plan. Likewise, in the different stages of endodontic treatment, a very close to three-dimensional obturation has been achieved, however, we will be able to see how in the processes of shaping and cleaning the root canal system the appropriate solutions appear to resolve this issue in a satisfactory manner. After attending the theoretical part, the participants will be able to experience in practice the cleaning and shaping of root canals with results close to three-dimensionality and be able to achieve excellence in Endo".

Curriculum Vitae

Dentist since 1992, in June 2000 he obtained his Master's Degree in Endodontics from the USC, where he was a Collaborating Professor until 2012. Since 2002 he has held the Diploma of Advanced Studies from the same University. He has collaborated as a guest lecturer at several Universities. Vice-president of the College of Dentists and Stomatologists of La Coruña until May 2012. Member of the Spanish Association of Endodontics since 2003. He has given more than a hundred training courses, as well as various conferences at national and international congresses in Europe and America. His private practice has been dedicated exclusively to Endodontics in La Coruña, since 1995.
